Hello. This site is basically an experimental place to put my recipes, to remember interesting cookware, to voice my experiments in food and wine, and as a place where friends can grab recipes that I cook for them (or blather about on Facebook). My name is Alia. I am a 30-something year old law student (soon to be corporate attorney). I have many creative outlets, including writing and photography. However, recently, cooking has been the most practical creative outlet to explore and develop. I can experiment and enjoy the process, but at the same time, it (usually) results in something practical… dinner!
